Tina Marie Jones

Tina Marie Jones was born in Hamilton, Ohio.  She was called to Heaven on February 17, 2023.  She was born July 2, 1965 to Dorothy M. Jones and Milton Pate Sr.

She accepted the Lord Jesus Christ in her life at an early age.  She joined Pilgrim Baptist Church under the direction of the Dr. Norman L. Townsend.  She attended Hamilton City Schools, where she was an active cheerleader and graduated  from Hamilton High in 1983.  She also attended The University of Cincinnati majoring in Psychology.

She was married to Courtney Frierson and to this union was blessed with two children, Courtney Frierson II and Aliyah Frierson. 

Tina worked 34 years as a Direct Care Specialist at CORE inc., because of her dedication, loyalty, and passion for caring for her clients with special needs she took the next step to become the manager.

Tina loved music, she loved to dance, and she loved to sing, shopping at the Goodwill, she loved being at home relaxing with her family and her dog Memie and she loved to snack.   Most of all she loved helping others.  Her children and her grandchildren were her pride and joy.

Tina was preceded in death by both her parents and a wonderful stepfather, Robert “45” Vinson Jr. and her sister Ruby Thompson.

She leaves behind to cherish her sweet memories: her children, Courtney Frierson II and Aliyah Frierson; her grandchildren, Jayden Frierson of Colorado Springs, Colorado, Alaiya Frierson of West Chester, Ohio and Zoralynn Frierson of Dry Ridge, Kentucky; her siblings, Teresa Jones of Hamilton, Ohio and Vincent Jones of Columbus, Ohio, Milton Pate Jr., Casey Pate, Kenneth Pate all of Cincinnati, Ohio; special aunts, Alma Smiley  (Trammel) of Troy, Alabama and Ella Neal (Rayburn) of Fairfield, Ohio; special uncle, Isaac Jones of St. Petersburg, Florida and a host of other relatives, nieces and nephews, cousins and friends.
