Tempest Elise Epps was born April 5th 1986 in Cincinnati Ohio to Alicia Ann Epps and Charles Edward Epps Sr.
Tempest was very smart and loved to draw and do hair at a young age while in elementary school at Washburn. She carried that passion for hair all the way through high school and decided to make that her career choice after graduating from Jacob Center.
Tempest became a mother and that became her main focus; taking care of her daughter. She started doing hair full time; making a career for herself and her daughter Te'Mya. Tempest perfected her love for braiding hair and was well known for being one of the coldest braiders in the city.
Tempest was a fun loving, outgoing, adventurous person and was loved all the way around.
Tempest was preceded in death by her father, Charles Edward Epps Sr., sister, Yvette (Shuggie) Epps and brother, Jermaine Lowe.
Tempest leaves to cherish her memory: mother, Alicia A. Epps; daughter, Te'Mya Donnay'jah Epps; grandmother, Shirley A. Colbert; siblings, Charles Epps Jr., Pamela Epps, Elizabeth Epps, Jerome Epps, Diana Divinity, Tonia Epps-Noah, Toby Epps, , Twins Terrell & Cherrelle (Shy'Nelle) Mcalley, Tobias (Jaylen, Bra'zion, Bra'kari) Epps, and Shan (Mosiah, Sha'Nyrah, Sha'Tyrah, Semaj) Epps; two aunts, Theresa Mathis and Rosa Craig; four uncles, Ronald Keith Streety, Ollen Colbert, Eric Colbert and Antonio Colbert and a very special cousin/sister/bestfriend since day 1 Krystal (G'onnii) (Marco) Gulley.
Tempest was in a relationship with Dante (Life) Ice for almost three years and was planning a future with him. They planned on moving out of state and opening up their own Braiding and Barber Studio. Tempest was well loved and will be missed by a host of family and friends.
