Patricia Ann Fosterв?¦.Memories Forever Treasured
Patricia was born on April 28, 1953 in Dayton, Ohio to the union of Beulah Blount and Norman Crowder Sr. She entered eternal sleep peacefully on January 24, 2019 in her home, surrounded by family.
She moved to Cincinnati after meeting her future husband, Andre Foster when they worked as apprentice engineers with Local 18. Pat and Andre lived 29 years of "Amazing Grace" that came with hard truths and un-ending love. Upon their union, Patricia became the master-mother of all Andre's children. However her loving, compassionate spirit was mother of seven sons, two daughters and 27 grandchildren.
Pats biggest joy was in the praise and worship of our God and Savior. She gave herself to radical praise and humble love as she served with her brothers and sisters at New Vision United Methodist Church. She increased what would grow to be freedom of praise and worship with her family at New Song Ministries, where she and her sisters of spiritual movement took praise and worship on the road to wherever praise and worship was needed.
Her life as an engineer was just as big a part of her life as praise and worship was. Watching "little Pat" operate giant equipment was mind blowing. She was much loved by her Local #18 and Koesing Company construction families and she loved them all right back. When she was not on the job, she enjoyed being a wife, companion, cook and spiritual warrior with her husband, Minister Andre. She earned a reputation for her fried chicken and pound cakes. All of her dinners were equivalent to "Thanksgiving" standards. Patricia was also skilled as a fierce Bid Whist and Triple Yahtzee player !
Patricia was blessed with an upbeat, compassionate spirit that was enjoyed and appreciated by those she touched throughout her journey. She went with her husband to nursing homes and hospitals to visit the sick.
Patricia also reached out to those in the Evanston community to feed the hungry and to help anyone in need. She will be dearly missed by all. She was also dearly loved by her family and friends in Columbus and Dayton, Ohio. She was preceded in death by her parents, Beulah and Norman.
Pat в??s return home leaves uncountable memories and life experiences of love and mercy, hard truth and ridiculous grace. Her loving spirit will forever be treasured by her husband Andre; her daughters, sons, brothers and sisters, nieces, nephews, cousins. She will also be sorely and dearly missed by many church family members and all her friends.
