Obituary
Elaine Headen was born July 11, 1949 to John McCall and Alberta Mathis. Elaine found God at an early age and attended St Joseph church, Annunciation, and St Simon of Cyrene. Elaine attended grade school at St. Joseph Elementary, Samuel Ach Jr. High, and graduated from Hughes Center High School. Elaine also attended Stowe Vocational with proficiency in shorthand and accounting. Elaine majored in accounting at W.C. until her mother's passing. Later Elaine also took classes in medical billing and coding earning an associate’s degree.
Elaine worked a few jobs where she made many friends; one being her lifelong friend Sherry. Elaine worked at Fifth Third Bank, Provident Bank, XPEDX International Paper, Prasco Labs, and Kemba Credit Union for 22 years as their head bookkeeper.
Elaine was preceded in death by her parents, grandparents, and beloved daughter, Lisa Mathis.
Elaine leaves to cherish her memory: granddaughter, Rachel Mathis; great grandkids, JaMiyah and JaMiere Brown; her loving life partner of 22 years, Robert Bronson; stepchildren, Ronald and Karla; step grandchildren and great grandchildren; and a host of family members and friends.
