Read more about the life story of Dian and share your memory.
Life is a beginning and ending and the span in between. God has set the proper time for our beginning and end, but he gives us the time to live, love, to touch someone and to glorify him.
Dian Katherine Meyers was born on July 12, 1946 in Cincinnati, Ohio to the late Robert Meyers and Frances Alexander. She departed this life on July 31, 2023 into the arms of The Lord.
Dian was the oldest of five sisters and two brothers. Her father was an auto mechanic and her mother was a housewife. She was the oldest of her siblings but she was her mother’s only child. She graduated from Hughes High School in 1963. She was hired as a stenographer for The Hamilton County Courthouse, where she worked for over 20 years. She then went on to work as a bank teller for PNC Bank, where she was employed until her health started to fail and she retired.
Dian loved her family, especially her many nieces and nephews. They all took the place of her not having her own children. She loved keeping herself up and loved getting her hair and nails done. She also loved to shop and to travel.
Dian leaves to cherish her memory her sisters, Priscilla Roberson, Barbara Meyers, Roberta (Robert) Purdie, Jackie Meyers and Janis (Edwin) Drake; her brothers, Edward Carter and Willie Nelson Carter; her nieces/daughters,, Shannon and Brandi Meyers; nephews/son, Victor Meyers as well as a host of other nieces, nephews, great-nieces and nephews and great-great nieces and nephews, all of whom she loved dearly.
She was preceded in death by her brother, Edward Carter; two nephews, Eric and Terrance Cash and great-nephew, Timothy Meyers.
