Delores Ann Holloway was born on January 7, 1955 in Cincinnati, Ohio to the union of Margaret Parks and John David Kennedy. She departed this life to be with The Lord God on April 14, 2016.
High School she pursued a career in the medical field. She worked for Planned Parenthood as a nurse for some time; however she did not stop there. Delores expanded her career and began teaching at the School of Creative and Performing Arts. She also enrolled at Southern Ohio College to continue her education and certification in the medical field.
Although she was faced with many obstacles as a single mother of six children, Delores remained focused on God and worked hard to succeed in all aspects of life. She worked hard in school and put God first in her household. Delores, who dearly loved her children, taught them that there was a GOD in heaven who loves us all and to always read his word and seek his face. She also taught her children to never give up and keep fightingв?¦ regardless of life's obstacles. She enjoyed laughing, the beauty of nature and cooking for her family.
Delores enjoyed several years with her partner Lucian T. Nall, who preceded her in death. She was also preceded in death by her son, Priest; a brother, John Edward and sister, Diane.
Her loving spirit will always be cherished by her children, Darryl, Bryant, Tomiko, Tommy, Toya and son in-law Zohnton Payne Sr.; 37 grandchildren and six great- grandchildren. (what a blessing). She is also survived by her siblings: Janie, Leatha, Wreatha, Ray an Eddie Bow along with a host of other family and friends.
