Don’t Weep for Me . . .
Don’t weep for me for I’m not sad.
Don’t weep for me for my soul has been made glad,
I left this body of clay to ascend,
To heaven to be with the Lord, Savior and Friend,
Don’t weep for me I don’t want you to cry,
This Will is my way of saying “Good Bye”.
Remember my laughter and the joys we shared
Don’t let my home going leave you burdened with cares
But rather tell comically stories of me,
with laughter you tears will soon turn to glee
I’ve gone home now, because God knows what is best
Don’t weep for me, for my soul is at rest.
