Yetta Ann Petty, who was blessed with 60 years of life , was born on December 27, 1954 in Richmond, Kentucky. She departed this life on May 15, 2015 at St. Elizabeth Hospital, Edgewood, Kentucky. She was raised in New Port, Kentucky by her aunt and uncle, names, whom she loved as her mother and father. Yetta attended Newport City Schools . After her graduation she married the love of her life, Eugene Petty. Their union was blessed with three sons, Eugene, Thomas and Dominique Petty. Yetta , who was initially a little shy with strangers, was a great person. She was loving, kind, considerate and passionate. She loved her boys, she was a loving, caring grandmother, she loved life, she loved singing gospel music and she loved the Lord. Yetta was a Christian for more than 30 years and a long -time member of Second Baptist Church. She will be dearly missed by her sons, Eugene, Thomas and Dominique Petty, eight grandchildren; sister-in-laws, Joan and Polly Petty; special niece, Lola. She will also be dearly missed by a host of other family, friends and her Second Baptist Church family. Visitation
