Celebrating His Spirit Willie "Popeye" Eastman Sr., 89, was born in Tennessee on July 7, 1925 to the union of Rosalee (Davidson) and James Eastman. He departed this life to be with The Lord on April 26 2015. Willie, one of three children, moved from Tennessee to Cincinnati as a young man. Upon his arrival, he met the love of his life, Bessie Thomas. The couple married and their union was blessed with four children, Louella, Willie Jr., Tony and Glen Eastman. Hard work was no stranger to Willie Eastman. He worked a number of jobs from the railroad to owning his own cab company. Willie always had a smile and made people smile. He will truly be missed by everyone who knew him. Willie was preceded in death by his wife Bessie Eastman, daughter, Louella Eastman and grandson Christopher Allen. His loving spirit will be forever cherished by his children, Willie Eastman Jr., Tony Eastman and Glen Eastman.
