Obituary

Veronica Lee Ewing Reese was born in Cincinnati, Ohio to Geraldine and  Arthur Ewing on March 6, 1957.  She grew up in Walnut Hills where she was raised by her grandmother, Queen Ester Jetter, whom she loved, cherished, and adored. They are there already to greet her.

Veronica attended Sawyer Elementary School and went to Withrow High School where she was very overprotective of her siblings towards anyone who threatened her or them, as she didn't take not one bit of crap.

Veronica was knowledgeable in a lot of areas and blew anyone away in the kitchen as her food was fit for royalty.  Veronica did not have a lazy bone in her body. Veronica was always helping and protecting the elderly.  She was forever on the move, living every day as if it was her last. She had more energy than all of us.

Veronica was very creative in so many ways, she loved to make things with her hands and didn't mind getting them dirty, as she loved, and collected plants and loved and cared for them a great deal.  In addition to being the best confidant anyone could have, she was the best friend and mother you could ever have because of her loyalty, trustworthiness, and dedication.

Her eldest son, Randy Fletcher Reese Jr. preceded her in death.

Veronica's energy made her the best mother she could be.  Veronica was a mother of three.  She is survived by her second eldest son, Carlos Lee Reese Sr.; daughter, Theresa Gwendolyn Reese; step daughter, Felicia Michelle Thompson; adopted daughter. Ellen Bowser (Ella) and honorary daughter/cousin, Bridgette Williams; six grandchildren, Carlos Lee Reese Jr., Ta'Carie Elaine Reese, Ronnell Carlos Reese, Mye'resa Felecia Harris, Alexandar Randy Reese, and Xaviar Senica Lawrence Reese-Dunlap; two great grandchildren, Christoher and Carter Reese; four siblings, Doretha Powell, Lenor Woolfolk, Tony Ewing, and Brian Ewing; six nieces and nephews, Adian Powell, Dr. Kevin Powell, Stephanie Powell, Corey Woolfolk, Daniel Woolfolk, and Nichelle Woolfolk.

Veronica also will be leaving behind a very large number of other family members, and friends who will truly miss her.
