Urban Junior Jackson was born on August 26,1953 to the late Evangelist Vera Ellison Jackson and the late Ulysses Jackson in Cincinnati, Ohio He gave his life to Christ at an early age. He also became a faithful member of Walk by Faith Christian Ministries with Pastor Gerry M. Gooding Sr. and sang in the Sons of Thunder Male Chorus.

He was very talented. He was a jack of all trades; you name it he could do it.  That's when he took on the name "ACTION JACKSON".

He was the patriarch of our family. He loved his family and friends. He enjoyed life and helped anybody he could by being very loving, kind and generous.

He departed this life for eternal rest on April 2, 2023. Urban was preceded in death by his son, Urban "REESE"; his mother, Vera; his dad, Ulysses; his two sisters, Linda and Velma and his brother, Bobby.

He leaves to cherish his memory: his daughter, Nina Kimiko; three sons, Keiven, Jermaine (Kisha) and Jon; fourteen grandchildren and three great grandchildren; his sister, Zina (Donald); three brothers, Ulysses Jr, Robert and Jerry; special friends, Carolyn Peek, Tony Greer, Gloria Turner and cousin, Melvin Phillips as well as a host of nieces, nephews and a very large family.
