Tyrone Kenney was born in Cincinnati, Ohio on September 14, 1947, to parents Rogers and Rose Kenney. He graduated from Rogers Bacon High School in Cincinnati, Ohio before matriculating to the University of Cincinnati, where he majored in Graphic Design. While at the University of Cincinnati, Tyrone Kenney became a member of Omega Psi Phi Fraternity. He along with his Line Brother Vincent Patterson, were initiated on Friday, December 8, 1967 through BETA IOTA CHAPTER, while attending the UC. Tyrone Kenney was affectionately known as "TY" . While at UC, Brother Kenney was a Founding Charter Member of PSI THETA CHAPTER, established on August 1, 1970 at the Pittsburgh, PA Grand Conclave. Without him or any of the other Charter Members, Psi Theta as it is known today may not exist. Tyrone Kenney demonstrated a sincere commitment to uplift the people that he encountered. He was a man of God, and lifelong Catholic. He was a gifted Artist and Photographer. He was a free-spirited entrepreneur who traveled the United States sharing his talents. He leaves to celebrate his life his cousin Virginia Fox and a host of Friends and Fraternity Brothers. Tyrone Kenney transitioned to be with the Lord on December 26, 2023 at his Home in Washington, DC. A Graveside Burial Service will take place at Gate of Heaven Cemetery on Monday November 18, 2024 at 2:00 PM.
