Celebrating His Spirit Tre'vor Rashawn Wilson was born on August 18,1998 in Cincinnati, Ohio to the loving union of his parents, Rashawn Wilson and Crystal Gilchrist. Tre'vor was the only child to bless the life of Rashawn, who preceded him in death. Tre'vor grew Cincinnati Public Schools and graduated from Withrow High School on May 25, 2017. He was a member of First Baptist of Church of Cumminsville, where he accepted Jesus Christ as his Lord and Savior and was baptized on May 3, 2009. He touched the lives of those around him with his gentle spirit. Tre'vor was employed at several companies throughout his life. Tre'vor was a firm believer that a man must work, however his first passion was entertaining people. He earned a reputation for cracking jokes and making people laugh. Tre'vor displayed his talent for rapping during Withrow's homecoming and received a standing ovation. Tre'vor, lovingly called "Tre," was a fun, loyal, respectable person who loved to entertain people. He inherited his passion for rapping from his father. Tre organized the great rap group LA (Lyrical Ambitions) with his close friends in the basement of his house. The group released several videos and freestyles. He loved all his friends but there were six he considered his brothers; Maleek Elliott, William Gunn, Gary Slone, Jr., James Buckhead, Armani Davis and Cortez Williams. Tre'vor dearly loved his family and will be truly missed. Tre'vor 's spirit will forever be cherished by his mother, Crystal Gilchrist and Step-father Antonio Harper; his Great-Grandfather James Gilchrist; his Grandmother Nadine (Greg) Siegel; his brother, Ja'mes Harper and sister, Naomi Harper; Aunts Belinda Thomas, Tracie Wilson-Meeks(Rodney Meeks), Latrina Gilchrist (Rondale Phillips). Trevor will also be missed by a host of aunts, uncles, cousins and a community of friends who will cherish his memory forever. LOVE GOD MORE You say," I LOVE YOU." For all the times you reached out through calls and text messages to show us that you were thinking of us and sometimes even when we called and you didn't answer, Was it enough? Did we play our part in the village of raising him to become the Man that God called him to be. Holding him, teaching him how to date girls, showing him how to respect others as well as himselfв?¦ Did I fail him? You say, " I LOVE YOU." I say, "I LOVE YOU TOO, BUT LOVE GOD MORE." As we continue life speculatingв?¦ Was I a good aunt, uncle, cousin, friend, grandmother, step-father, brother, sister or motherв?¦ Did he think so? You say, "I LOVE YOU." God the Father, God the Son, & The Holy Spirit." No need to keep questioning because Tre'vor loved you, but He loved God more. So however you thought you failed him, God always picked up the slack.
