Obituary

Thomas Roberson was born January 16,1969 in Cincinnati, OH to Thomas Crowell and Anna Dawkins. He departed this life on November 13, 2024 into the arms of the lord.

Thomas, who was lovingly known as "Jr" to family and "T Bone" to friends, was the fifth of six children. He was baptized at Rockdale Baptist Church at an early age. He attended Cincinnati Public Schools where he participated in many sports. However, he excelled in track and field. Jr also attended Job Corps where he obtained certification as an auto mechanic technician.

In 1995, Jr and Cynthia Willis created a blended family of six children with the welcoming of son, Carlos Roberson in 1999.

Jr worked in construction and with the elderly at Harmony Courts Day by Day Adult Daycare Center. In 1993 he worked with Wessling Tree Service and also became an independent contractor. He loved music and enjoyed taking care of the elderly and lending a helping hand. He enjoyed doing anything and everything with his hands. His many talents ranged from chef, arborist, tree service, landscaping, carpentry, fishing, hunting and anything you could think of that would involve him using his hands and iron strength.  A jack of all trades is only the beginning of expressions to be used to describe him because everything he did was done with pride and perfection.

When he spoke, the sound that escaped from his lips was incomparable. He brought joy with his voice and laughter that would travel from room to room and fill a home. He was the life of any party or gathering and embraced his family and friends.  He was mighty, strong, courageous, the " Mr. Fix It " and our very own iron man. Cleanliness is next to godliness. He was clean. Everyone falls short of God's glory, and he was imperfect as we all are but above all he definitely honored his parents and loved his neighbors as himself. Even when his health began to fail, he never complained. Jr being missed is an understatement.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Thomas Crowell and Anna Dawkins; two sisters, Hazel Roberson and Marilyn McCoy and one brother, Steve Roberson.

He leaves to cherish his memory: his loving companion Cynthia Willis; one daughter, Brittany  (Bobby) Duncan; five sons, Brandon Duncan, Deangelo (Danielle) Willis, Timothy Duncan, Arlando (Tyeisha) Willis and Carlos (Tyrin) Roberson; 23 grandchildren; one brother, Kelvin Roberson; one sister, Lisa Dawkins; one brother- in-law, Dwayne McCoy Sr.; one aunt, Mattie E. Roberson; four  nieces, three nephews and a host of family and friends.
