We honor Terry's Life and Celebrate His Departure Terry Dale Herron, 69, was born in London, Kentucky on March 28, 2016 to the union of Bessie and Hurbert Herron. He departed this life on October 18, 2016 into the arms of The Lord. Terry obtained his education in Kentucky. He was united in holy matrimony to Charlotte Cook and their union was blessed with two children, Tracey and Jamie. Jamie preceded Terry on the journey from earth into God's bosom. He moved to Cincinnati to work his trade as a mason and skilled carpenter. He quickly joined the House of Refuge in 1988 and started working with the church's Cornerstone Construction Company to help renovate houses throughout Cincinnati for those in need. Terry worked on the homes of nearly all of his church members. He gutted and completely rebuilt the Vine Street home of his dear friend Dr. Barbara Twitty. He was ordained an evangelist in 1992 and started a street ministry, which gleamed hundreds of souls in the United States. He also headed the House of Refuge's foreign outreach efforts to help people of Haiti and Africa-- his two main priorities. Evangelist Terry Herron donated thousands of dollars and his God-given talents to the people of these countries. His efforts were honored by King Ewushi of Ghana, who visited Cincinnati to honor Evangelist Terry Herron and the House of Refuge as Ghana Missionaries. Evangelist Terry was also honored by leaders of Haiti for his gift of carpentry and monetary contributions to the country. His efforts to help others resulted in a young pastor and his wife finishing high school and college. The couple, who joined the ministry , and now have their own church. Terry, one of nine children, was preceded in death by his brother, Donald Herron. His spirit will always be celebrated by his daughter, Tracey (Nick) Wilke; three grandchildren; his siblings, Marty, Pat, Betty, Janet, Phyllis, Jeff and Tommy; dearest and long-time friends, Dr. Barbara Twitty Green, Aspostle Cynthia Wattington, Deacon Stephen Green his care givers, his church family and a host of friends.
