Sandy Jones Jr. was born on September 18th, 1938 in Greensboro, Alabama to the union of Cora Strong and Sandy Jones Sr.  He left this life to be with The Lord on Saturday, May 31, 2025.

Sandy attended public schools in Alabama before joining the United States Army in 1957.  After receiving an honorable discharge he moved to Cincinnati, where he started a family and opened The Crystal Lounge Bar in Walnut Hills.  He enjoyed spending time with his family and friends.   He also had a passion for luxury cars and playing pool.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Cora and Sandy Jones Sr., along with his 12 siblings of the Jeffrey, Reed, Jones and Thomas families. He also was preceded in death by his loving partner, Joyce Harper.

He leaves to cherish his memory his children, Sharon (William Curtis) Scott, Anthony (Alison) Jones, Myron (Cynthia) Jones; grandchildren, Antonio (April) Wilson, William C. Scott Jr., Joshua Scott, Myra Jones and Pierra Jones; great-grandchildren, Sean Wilson, Dominique Scott, Shaynia Wilson, Virtue Mathews and Radiance Mathews; great-great grandchildren, Shamarion Holley and Roman Scott and a host of nieces and nephews.

He will also be dearly missed by Joyce Harper's son, Reggie Frazier and daughter, Sonia Harper; grandchildren and great-grandchildren and a host of other family and friends.
