Roderick Allen Payne I passed away on February 7, 2025. Roderick was born in Cincinnati, OH on October 13, 1955 to Reginald and Josephine Payne. He attended parochial school and served as an acolyte before graduating from Hughes High School and joining the US Air Force.

A prayerful servant to his beloved Heavenly Father, Roderick enjoyed a blessed life. He had a passion for driving and motor vehicles, a love for fish sandwiches and sweets with interests in religion, philosophy, education, music, poetry, art, chess, cooking and traveling.

Roderick will always be remembered for his smile, laugh and love for learning.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Josephine and Reginald Payne; his uncle, Raymond Stubbs Payne and aunt, Mary Payne.

Roderick is survived by his twins, Renee Payne and Roderick Payne II; sister, Regina Payne; brother, Raymond Payne; grandchildren, Marquese, Masen, Meya, Miracle, Myles and Marley; uncles, Edmund Berry and Ronald Richardson; aunt, Norma Jean Richardson; nieces, Persephone, Regius and Tabia; twin-nephews, Kendall and Keith; great-nieces, Tarryn and Tessah.  He will also be missed by many relatives and friends.
