Obituary

Princess (Candy) Towns was born on April 9, 1946 to James T. Towns, Sr. and Princess P. Towns.  She was raised in the West College Hill Steele Subdivision of Cincinnati, OH where she lived most of her life. She was born the 4th of 16 children.

She attended Steele Elementary and North College Hill Public Schools.  Most of her life was spent with her parents and other family members in the family home where she was always busy.

She was employed by the Kenner Toy Company for approximately 20 years, almost never complained about anything and would always tell you "it's alright" as she turned down opportunities she could have otherwise accepted in order to help others.

She also enjoyed visiting The West College Hill Senior Center throughout the week when she lived in West College Hill.  Candy as her name suggests, was sweet.  She was quiet and kept to herself most of the time but she will still be greatly missed.

She is survived by sisters, Gwen Wingfield, Jackie Hill, Sharon Powell, Pamela Towns, Alfreda (Ronald) Coleman, Melody Davis and Kimberly (Steve) Cort and brothers, Stanford Towns and Darryl Towns as well as a host of other family and friends who will miss her dearly.

She is preceded in death by her parents, sisters Sylvia Towns, Darlene Allen and Charmaine Towns; brothers, James Towns Jr., Alan Towns and Barry Towns; brother-in-law, Robert Allen, Sr.; nephews Shawn Allen, Eugene Allen and Theodore "Teddy" Towns.

Candy is now resting in the arms of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ so it truly is "alright".
