Patricia Cork was born in Cincinnati, OH on April 8, 1955 to the late Robert Clements and Essie Ponder. She departed this earthly life on Monday, July 27, 2026 at Bethesda North Hospital.
Patricia was raised in Walnut Hills and graduated from Courter Technical High School in 1973. After high school, she began working for Community Mutual which became Anthem Life Insurance Company, where she was employed until her retirement after nearly 40 years of service. In 1984, she married Everett Cork, affectionately known by his radio persona as "The Cork". Their union was blessed with one daughter, Di'Anda Me❜lan. This marriage lasted 33 blissful years until his passing in 2017.
Patricia's faith and unwavering commitment to the Lord was an integral part of her life. After her baptism at a young age, she held membership at several churches including First Baptist Church of Kennedy Heights, New Vision Missionary Baptist Church and Beloved Community Church. She held positions in the church as Church Secretary and President of Usher Board. She carried her faith with her throughout her life.
She was an avid participant in sports as a young woman and played Softball and enjoyed bowling in a mixed bowling league. Pat was an accomplished Bid Whist player inherited from her family upbringing. She enjoyed her TV sitcoms and movies, including Walker, Texas Ranger, Matlock, LifeTime channel and many others.
Patricia's life was a testimony of faith, resilience, service and unconditional love of her family. Her presence was a blessing to others, her guidance was a gift, and her legacy will continue to shine as we remember her as "The Queen", the title her late husband fondly bestowed upon her. Pat will be missed by her daughter and son-in-law, her siblings, and her many dear and close friends and acquaintances for her passing leaves a deep void in all our lives.
She was preceded in death by her beloved husband: Everett Cork; her loving parents: Robert Clements, Essie and Charles Whiting, Sr.; and her siblings: Jerome Clements, Charles Whiting, Jr. and Donald Whiting.
