Nina was born July 27, 1959 in Cincinnati, Ohio. She was born to James Ousley, Sr and Isabelle (Grevious) Ousley. She departed peacefully on December 2, 2022

At an early age Nina accepted Christ as her Lord and Savior. She was baptized and became a member of First Baptist Church of Cumminsville. As a member she was an Usher, sung in the choir, and was a founding member of the Praise Dance Ministry, alongside her late cousin Audrey (Heflin) Roe. Later in life Nina became a member of Corinthian Baptist Church.

Nina grew up in Cumminsville and attended Garfield Elementary School. After the family moved to Clifton she attended Clifton Elementary, Schwab Junior High School and graduated from Aiken Senior High School in 1977. Following high school she attended the University of Cincinnati College.

To know Nina was to love her. She never came in contact with a stranger as she loved everyone. She carried many nicknames from Nina Ricci, Mama Lucci, Nina O, Mama Nina and many more. Nina wore many hats including working for Club Chef, Cinpak, City of Cincinnati and UC Hospital where she retired from.

In Nina's spare time she loved listening to jazz music, watching her Bengals play, playing pokeno with her family, shopping, and all around spending time with her loved ones.

Nina was preceded in death by her parents, James Ousley, Sr. and Isabelle Ousley; her brother Raymond Carter and her sisters, Elaine Fowler and Janice Ousley-Hoy.

Her loving spirit will be forever cherished by her son, Bennie Watkins, Jr. (Tiffanee Watkins); her grandson Keon Watkins; her brother, James Ousley, Jr and her sister, Crystal (William) Hinton; her special Angel niece, Jasmine Hinton along with a host of nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews, cousins, relatives and friends.
