Lawrence Westmoreland, Sr. was born on June 24, 1957 in Cincinnati, OH. He was the youngest of six children to James 0. Westmoreland, Sr. and Fredie Mae Judge Westmoreland.

Lawrence departed this earthly life unexpectedly on February 7, 2024. He was a product of Cincinnati Public Schools graduating from Withrow High School in 1975 and he joined the United States Marine Corps in November 1975.

He confessed Christ shortly after returning from 3 years of active duty and was baptized by the late Rev. D.L. Motley, Sr. at Peace Baptist Church, Cincinnati, OH. He secured employment as a United States Postal Service mail carrier for a short period of time.

Lawrence "Bubbles" Westmoreland was an avid Cincinnati Bengals and Reds fan. During his latter days he devoted his time to taking care of his mother in her home.

He leaves to cherish: his mother, Freddie Mae Westmoreland; 3 siblings, Lucille Lawson, Nathan D. Sr. and Kim (Cheri); 4 sons, Lawrence Jr., Brandon, Bevan, and Donovan; fourteen grandchildren; special longtime friend, Tammy McRae and a host of nephews, nieces, relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by his father, James 0. Westmoreland, Sr.; 2 brothers, Williams Charles and James 0. Jr. and a son, LaBrian Omar.
