Joseph Benjamin Roberts was born December 19, 1963 in Cincinnati, OH to the union of Ethel Roberts and Robert "Bobby" Jones.  He grew up in the Avondale community.  He was the oldest of his siblings; he was also a father, cousin and friend to many.

Joe was a loving, caring God fearing man with a heart of gold.  He was man who stood on his word.  He was always there when anyone needed him.  His love for others was so strong that he put other people before himself.  Joe enjoyed the finer things in life.  Not material things but things you can't buy like quality time with family and friends.  Joe's hobbies were fishing, music and the gun range.  He was also known as the neighborhood vet.

Joe gained his wings on October 26,   He was united with his grandmother, Rose Roberts and his long time love, Paula Jones.

He leaves to cherish is memories: five children, Niya Hill, Neil Craig, Anthony Chase, Joshua Roberts and Jessica Roberts; his mother, Ethel Roberts; uncle, Terry Roberts and his youngest sister, Sheila Roberts; twelve grandchildren; five great grandchildren; his longtime partner and support dogs, Boss and Cujo along with a host of family & friends.
