Celebrating His Spirit John Christopher Wilson was born on December 9, 1984 to NaVaughna Marie Wilson and Robert Williams Sr. He departed this life on June 27, 2022 into the arms of The Lord. Chris was the fourth child and the youngest baby boy of the family. He took pride in his family, especially his six children. Chris loved his children dearly. He was a loving, outspoken and family-oriented man. He was a Godfather to Amir, whom he loved spending available time with as well. He also loved basketball, which he played during his teenage years. He was very good on the basketball court. His favorite hobbies were sports, family outings and hanging with close friends. Chris also enjoyed music, food and making memories. "YG," as he was known, was the life of the party and would bring laughter to any room. He knew how to make you mad… or put a smile on your face. Chris had a heart of gold and would give a stranger the shirt off his back. YG will be truly missed. He was preceded in death by his father, Robert Williams Sr.; his grandmother, Velora Nelson and two nephews, D'Johnte and Anthony Wilson.Chris's memory will forever be cherished by his mother, NaVaughna Wilson; his six children, Sojere, Solomon, Shawn, Malik, Einiyah, Ja'Nyla ; his brother, Robert Williams Jr.; his four sisters, Niesha (DaWayne) Hunter, Chance (Tyrone) Wilson, Carribbean (Christopher) Mimms, Te'ara (Brady) Thompson; Godson, Amir; three childhood friends, Lovell, Jamar and "Yellow". He will also be dearly missed by a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews and friends; special sister at heart, Sherkia Guyton. A special thanks to Raqkel and Shay, mothers of his children, for continuing his legacy.
