Gregory Lee Collins was born to the union of Exie Jewell and William C Collins on May 28, 1952. Gregory was preceded in death by his parents, three sisters; Christine Watkins, Wilma Collins, Mary McKinney and a brother; John L. Collins. Gregory departed this earthly life on August 29, 2024.
Gregory aka Greg confessed Christ at an early age at Bethlehem Baptist Church under the leadership of Rev. Mitchell.
Greg grew up in the West End Lincoln Courts, He often call it the *Village* community because of all the good things we were able to do there.
He was educated in the Cincinnati Public School system, attending Hays Elementary, Porter Jr. High and Robert A. Taft High School, Class of 1970.
Greg joined the US Navy in 1970, and serviced on the USS Enterprise, doing the *Vietnam War*. He travel to places like the Philippine*s Island, and etc. before completing his four years with an honorable discharge.
After his military services, Greg was hired by the City of Cincinnati in the Sewer maintenance department for two years. He worked for other employers, learning many skills along the way and was a faithful hard worker. He had a love for Fishing, children and doing Security work around Cincinnati until his health begins to fail.
He leaves to cherish his memory three sisters: Ruth M. Reese, of California, Barbara A. Collins and Kathleen Collins Troup of Cincinnati, Ohio; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
