Celebrating Her Spirit. . . . Gloria Alanice Smith was born on August 30, 1954 to the union of Alonzo Smith and Mattie Neal. She departed this life on February 21, 2018 into the arms of The Lord. Gloria grew up in Cincinnati and attended Cincinnati Public Schools. She graduated from Hughes High School and continued her education by enrolling in Cosmetology College. Gloria was a talented woman in many fields. Her many jobs included Husmann and Correflex to name a few. She loved to travel and see the world. She also dearly loved her family and enjoyed having a good time. She was preceded in death by her father, Alonzo Smith and grandson, Marquale Smith. Her outgoing, fun-loving spirit will forever be cherished by her mother, Mattie Neal-Anderson; her three daughters, Tracy Smith, LaTonya (Adrain) Ward and Vivian Smith; niece and special daughter, Folecia Smith; her siblings, Sabrina L. Smith, Gregory J. Smith, Judith A. Anderson and Jason B. Anderson; her grandchildren, Aaron Smith, Keshare Smith, De'Shawn Smith, Breanna Smith, Billy Freeman, Kelvin Reese and Kyran Reese. Gloria will also be dearly missed by a host of great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
