Celebrating His Spirit Felix Spence, Jr. was born to the union of Rotelia (Shorter) and Felix Spence, Sr. on July 25, 1935 in Cuthbert Georgia. He moved from Georgia to Cincinnati in 1956. Felix went to work at Good Samaritan Hospital as a Dietary Supervisor, retiring after 34 years of service. He also worked part time at Ohio Commercial Janitorial Service for five years until he took ill. Felix loved and lived life to the fullest. Even when his sickness got the best of him, he would bounce right back to recovery. But on Wednesday, March 8, 2017 The Lord told him it was time to go to his heavenly home. He will be dearly missed and his memories of kindness will forever be in our hearts. Felix was preceded in death by his wife Dorothy Jean Spence and son Felix Spence III. Felix leaves to cherish his precious memory his loving daughter, Vicki (Gerald) Franklin; two grandsons, Mario Franklin and Brian Franklin; one great-grandchild, Stacey Franklin; one brother, Chestine Spence of Cincinnati, Ohio; two sisters, Bernice Alexander and Gloria Wilson of Cuthbert, Georgia.
