Eugene H. Burton was born in Cincinnati, Ohio on December 17th, 1933 and passed away peacefully at home on December 9, 2017. Eugene was affectionately known as "Geno" by many friends and family. Eugene was preceded in death by his Mother, Willa M. Battle and his Father, Eugene H. Burton. Eugene met and married his wife, Wilma, while he was in the Air Force and after traveling the country settled with his family in his hometown of Cincinnati. Eugene was a faithful member of First Baptist Church WCH since 1973. He founded the Male Chorus, drove the church van for nine years, involved in prison ministry, chairman of Men's Day, and chairman of the nominating committee. Eugene leaves to cherish his memory; his loving wife of 58 years, Wilma L. Burton (Hubbard), 4 children, Joy M. Daniels, Curtis E. Burton, Jeffrey W. Burton, Felicia D. Davis (Jackson Jr.); 4 grandchildren, Hari M. Daniels Jr. (Stacie), Antonio D. Daniels, Jackson Davis III, Candace L. Davis; 3 great-grandchildren, Saamiya Nole, Gabrielle Daniels, Chase Daniels; and a host of other relatives and friends.
