IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Emma Jean
Perry
October 22, 1939 – May 9, 2025
Norma Jean Perry (Spearman) was born on October 22, 1939 to Emma Spearman and William Sherrill in Cincinnati, Ohio.
She grew up in Cincinnati and attended Samuel Ach Elementary School and Central High School. After high school, she went into the medical field. She became an IU Nurse and worked at Jewish Hospital before moving to Christ Hospital where she worked for 30 years.
She married Louis Perry when she was 23 and to that union one son, Keith L. Perry was born. Two years later, she and Louis divorced.
Several years after retirement from Christ Hospital, she continued to work in the medical field for oncology doctors. She also worked in retail because of her love for clothes, most notably J. C. Penny.
She is survived by her son, Keith Louis Perry; her granddaughter, Brandi (Larry) Patterson; and great grandchildren, Braylon, Ava and Kamaya; two goddaughters, Holli Collier-Turner and Menisha Barney along with a host of others who loved her and will miss her dearly.
