Earl Wilson, Jr. was born on February 22, 1959 in Cincinnati, Ohio to the late Earl Wilson, Sr. and Juanita Woolens. He was the first born of this union.
Earl attended Sands Elementary, Bloom Junior High and graduated from Robert A. Taft High School. In 1982 he married the late Barbara Harris. Their union blessed him with step-children, Jeffrey, Justin and Shawn, all of whom he raised. In 1995, Earl married Roberta Phillips and became the step--father of Toya "Niomi," Calvin and Byron.
Earl was baptized at an early age and gave his life to the Lord at Morning Star Baptist Church. Earl , who held a number of different jobs , ended his work career at Easy Way when he became ill.
Eventually Earl's illness lead him to the Home at Hearthstone, where the staff quickly grew to love him. He had a passion for drawing and a knack for being the life of the party. Although he didn't have any children of his own, he raised his nieces and nephews as if they were his children. Even though he was raised with a host of women, he found brothers in Gary Robinson, Artis "Spooky" Gary and John McCoy.
Earl was preceded in death by his mother, Juanita Woolens; sister, Deborah Wilson and great-niece, London Graham.
He leaves to cherish is memory his wife, Roberta Wilson, his sisters, Sandra, Carolyn (Kenny), Tonya and Earlena (Michael); his nieces and nephew, Lashaunda (Raulin), Rico, Tangy, Dominique and Paulisha; special friend Linda Smith; eight-great nieces and a host of relatives and friends. He will be truly missed.
