Dametrias R. Durrett

Dametrias Raymont Durrett passed away peacefully on August 10, 2026 surrounded by family and loved ones. Dametrias was born to Brenda Phillips and Ricardo Durrett on August 28, 1985.

Dametrias Raymont Durrett was a loving son, devoted father, cherished brother and loyal friend. Dametrias had a kind heart, a strong work ethic and a contagious smile that could light up any room. He will be remembered for his love, generosity, and joy he brought to everyone who knew him.

Dametrias enjoyed all sports but nothing could take place of The Cincinnati Bengals. He would scream "Who Dey," even when it was off season. He graduated from Hughes High School in 2004. He continued his education at The University of Cincinnati.

Throughout his life Dametrias, affectionally called Meche, was known for kindness and his sense of humor. He will be remembered for his bad dance moves and let's not forget his "dad jokes."

Dametrias will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered by everyone who had the privilege of knowing him.

His memory will be cherished by his wife, Leslie Durrett; four children, Dmetri'Van Williams, Prosperity Le'Shai Durrett, Dametrias Raymont Jr. and bonus-son, Kevin Jefferson; his mother, Brenda Phillips; three siblings, Ricky, Benjamin, and Candace; his aunts, Linda Johnson and Johannah Glover; and grandmother, Veronica Maddox.
