Dale Pennington

Dec 31, 1965 — Sep 14, 2026

Dale Pennington was born and raised in Cincinnati, Ohio, to Jacqueline Pennington and the late Pearl Pennington. He peacefully departed this life on September 14, 2026.

Dale grew up in several Cincinnati neighborhoods, but Madisonville held a special place in his heart because of the memories he shared there with family and friends. He and his brother, Rodney, were raised in a loving home and were nearly Inseparable; many of Rodney's friends also became Dale's. After graduating from Withrow High School, Dale held various positions throughout his career, most recently at Forrr1ica.

Dale accepted Christ at an early age and was baptized at Inspirational Baptist Church under the leadership of Reverend Dr. E. 0. Thomas Jr. He later attended City Gate Church in Forest Park, pastored by Eric and Kim Petree, until his health prevented him from worshiping in person.

A lifelong baseball enthusiast, Dale was a devoted Cincinnati Reds fan. As a father and grandfather, he cherished every moment spent with his children and grandchild. He also treasured time with extended family and looked forward each year to the family reunion in Manchester, Kentucky, where he reconnected with loved ones.

Dale was known for his signature baseball caps, coordinated outfits, gym shoes, and favorite cologne. He enjoyed visiting family and friends and, in his younger years, riding the motorcycle his father introduced him to. Pearl also taught Dale and Rodney how to build model cars-skills rooted in his own long career at General Motors. Through this, Dale developed a lifelong love of automobiles and became an expert at understanding and appreciating cars.

After giving up motorcycling, Dale could often be found caring for his car, keeping it washed, polished, and shining-especially the rims. Loving people was Dale's passion, and he shared a special bond with dogs, including the family pets. He also loved food, with pinto beans and cornbread among his favorites.

Dale loved many things in Life1-motorcycles, cars, dogs, and the family and friends he cherished so deeply. Yet the love that stood out above all was the love he had for his mother, Jacqueline. Like any devoted mother, she supported him through every stage of his life, and Dale never stopped showing his gratitude, concern, and affection for her.'

Even while he was recovering from sickness, his thoughts often turned to her. He constantly checked on her, wanting to be sure she was alright. His love for his mother was steady, sincere, and unforgettable a reflection of the bond they shared and the heart he carried.

Dale Leaves to cherish his memory, his mother, Jacqueline; brother, Rodney (Janice); son, Dale Brandon; grandson, Dale Brandon Jr.; nephew, Chaz Michael (Stephanie); and many aunts, uncles, cousins, a great-niece, a great-nephew, and a host of cherished family and friends.
