Christopher Gene Threat was born in Charleston, West Virginia to Antoinette Threat and Wavey Pratt. The Lord called him home on January 30, 2014. Christopher grew up in Charleston, West Virginia and Cincinnati, Ohio, where his mother moved the family when he was six years old. He attended Cincinnati Public Schools prior to moving back to Charleston, where he finished his education at Stonewall Jackson High School. Following school, he worked at Western Sizzler Steakhouse and for a variety of other companies in Virginia doing various odd jobs. He returned to Cincinnati with his mother in the early 1990s and continued working odd jobs. Christopher had a humorous personality and loved to tease family and friends. He was fascinated with cars and enjoyed working on them in his spare time. He will always be remembered by his mother, Antoinette Threat; two sons, Deshaun Miller and Diahntae Taylor; two daughters, Christasia Murray and Tanzi Miller; brother, Wavey Threat; five step-sisters, LaToya, Lisa, Jessica, Venus and Wavina, all of Charleston, West Virginia; aunts, Sharon Rogers, Tobie (Vaughn) Lavalle, Alberta (Edward) Payne; uncles, Robert (Dorothy) Ecckles and Harell (Judith) Ecckles.
