Christopher was born on December 20, 2002 in Cincinnati, Ohio to Tiffany Cornist and Hadari Frye. At the age of five he was adopted by his parents; Michael and Angela Smith.
Although Christopher spent most of his childhood in Georgia, he later returned to Ohio where he reestablished his roots. Christopher transformed from a curious and determined boy to a resilient and inspiring young man. Through his transformation, he executed a plethora of feats. Christopher graduated from Cincinnati Virtual High School in 2023. He was a part of the Media Ministry Team at the Word of Deliverance and fervently served others in his community. Christopher was an industrious worker who toiled endlessly. He faced his life's challenges with courage and determination, inspiring others through his strength, tenacity, and positive outlook on life.
Christopher was a beloved son, a steadfast brother, a wonderful uncle and loving grandson. Christopher embraced life with total enthusiasm and was always the spokesperson and protector for his siblings; from the youngest to the oldest.
His journey was marked by meaningful relationships, memorable adventures, and contagious laughs. Christopher exuded light, love, and a carefree spirit who brought pride and joy to everyone who knew him.
He was preceded in death by his Great Grandparents: Lewis and Sarah Hilton; Great Grandmother, Luerine McClendon; Grandfather, Norman Hammons, and Grandmother, Lizzie Smith.
He leaves to cherish his memory his devoted parents: Michael and Angela Smith; birth parents: Tiffany Jones (Dexter) and Hadari Frye; siblings: Mykal Smith, Nakayla Smith, Masawn Smith, and Jazmine Smith; his niece: Mya Smith; Grandparents: Larry and Bertha Southall as well as a host of other relatives and friends.
We rest in the knowledge that when those whom we love pass away, they don't go away; they walk beside us every day; unseen, and unheard but always felt.
