Carolyn J. Hudson-Laskey was born August 19, 1953 in Cincinnati, Ohio to the late Jesse Hudson and Emma Edwards. She transitioned peacefully from this earthly life on November 18, 2022.

She attended Cincinnati and Loveland Public Schools. She was a graduate of Woodward High School (BULL DOGS). Carolyn was employed for 25 years with IBM and 22 years with Express Scripts/Cigna.

In her spare time she enjoyed bowling, making ceramics, playing cards and games and loved gathering with family and friends. Two of her favorite places to go was Red Lobster and Benihana Restaurant.

She was preceded in death by her father, Jesse Hudson; her bonus father, George Edwards and her grandson, Donta Laskey Jr.

Carolyn leaves to cherish her fond memories: her husband, Russell Laskey; her daughter, Keisha Hudson; her mother, Emma Edwards; her sisters, Donna (Willie) Wilson, Patrician (Freddie) Speed, Rhonda Hudson and Robbie (Julius) Jones; her brothers, Glenn (Rhonda-Ladi) Hudson and Kennie Edwards; her bonus children, Donta Laskey and Russell G. Laskey; several grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins and many who loved her and will miss her dearly.
