Brenda Levette Wells

Brenda Levette Wells, 63, was born on July 14, 1962 in Cincinnati, Ohio to the late Willa Mae and James Batchelor. She departed this life on March 20, 2026 into the arms of The Lord.

She grew up in Cincinnati and attended Cincinnati Public Schools. Brenda absolutely loved raising her five children and hosting family get togethers, all of whom enjoyed her famous macaroni ‘n cheese and spaghetti.

Brenda loved singing, listening to music and dancing. She was very loving, generous and would help anyone.

Brenda, affectionately called “Ladybugg,” married the love of her life, Bernard Wells, around 2008. The couple enjoyed a happy union until he passed away in August, 2017. Bernard, Brenda’s “southern gentleman,” was the life of the party, like Brenda. Brenda was blessed with a loving husband who was attentive, loving and nurturing to her as well as to her children.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Bernard Wells; her mother, Willa Mae Batchelor; father, James Batchelor; son, Raymond Batchelor; brothers, Gregory Batchelor and Roderick Davis.

Brenda Levette Wells is survived by her children, Dwan (Sheena), Tanisha (David), Amber, Tony (Ahkeem); grandsons, Dwan Jr., Lamont, Martez, Daivon, Daimer, Daimar; sister, Sheila Davis; brother, Kevin Meadows; very special cousins, Ruben Davis and Micheal Davis. Her loving spirit will also be missed by a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts, uncles and a community of friends.
