Barbara Jean Spiller Bryant, affectionately known as "Bee," was born on June 23, 1967, in Cincinnati, Ohio. She was raised in the South Cumminsville community and attended Cincinnati, Public School.
As a young adult, Barbara moved to over-the-Rhine, where she became well known for her warm heart, friendly spirit, and genuine love for people. Throughout her adult life, she worked several jobs ans was especially known for her love of cooking. Barbara never hesitated to feed or clothe anyone in need, always giving freely and selflessly to others.
Later in life, Barbara moved to Louisville, Kentucky, a place she embraced and proudly called home for many years. As her health began to decline, she returned to Cincinnati in 2021. Barbara loved the Lord deeply, and although she cherished her solitude, her unwavering faith guided her throughout her life.
Barbara was preceded in death by her beloved son, Cornelius Spiller; her parents, John and Marie Spiller (Rivers); and her aunt, Laura Gibson, who lovingly raised her.
She leaves to cherish her memory her daughters, Sarah Spiller and Selena Spiller; her grandson, Cornelius Spiller Jr.; her granddaughter, Topanga Spiller; her sisters, Regina River-Eason (Stan), Jackie Rivers, Vanessa Mike, and Lovette Mike; her brothers, Tyrone Spiller and Robert Mike; her uncles, Roosevelt Spiller (Gail) of Cincinnati, Ohio and Ellison Spiller of Columbia, Mississippi; her aunt, Mary Lee Spiller of Chicago, Illinois; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
She will be greatly missed, but never forgotten.
