IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Antione
Howard
May 13, 1982 – August 13, 2022
Antione Jamel Howard said "good morning world," on May 13, 1982. After a full and rewarding life, he said "farewell" on August 13, 2022 and entered into the arms of The Lord.
Antione, the son of Roberta and Curtis, attended Cincinnati Public Schools and graduated from Western Hills High School. He joined First Baptist Church of Cumminsville at an early age, where he was baptized and remained a devoted life-long member. He served as president of the Youth Choir for many years, as a member of the Aujust Choir and participated in many church activities.
He started singing at the age of four. He grew up to share his beautiful tenor voice during performances at schools, church and community events. He loved singing and praising The Lord. Antione took great interest in reading and researching history; one of his great passions. He was blessed with the ability to trace and write about his family history ancestry. He was well on his way to becoming a great historian. His other "passions" included inviting friends and family over to his home for barbeque parties. Hosting parties for family and friends was his greatest joy.
Antione was employed at Mr. Gene's Dog House as a full-time and part-time employee for many years. He was always welcomed back by owners Mr. Gene and Donnie Keister and coworkers. After a long trial period of hard work and prayer, Antione recently became a permanent employee of the U.S. Post Office, Cincinnati Division.
His gentle spirit will forever be missed by his parents, Roberta and Curtis; his brother, Curtis Jr.; four aunts, Virginia Simmons, Lavern Wallace, Alice Hampton and Denise Howard of Cincinnati and Aline (Curry) Collier of Jacksonville, Fl.; three uncles, Rod (Elaine) Howard, Charles Ham0pton, John (Shirley) Hampton and Arthur Howard of Atlanta, GA; first cousins, Kimberly, David, Kurine, Kevin, Britney Howard; one nephew, Micah Walker; step-brothers, Robert and Mario Hampton; step-sisters, Precious Love and Sweetcaress Hampton.
He will also be dearly missed by a host of other relatives, cousins, family and a community of friends; his best friend of many years, Grady Butler; his happy singing and praising cousin/sister, Buddy Carliss Green.
Everyone will cherish his memory forever!
