Celebrating The Life of Robin Nell Ledford
Robin Nell (Hines) Ledford was born to the union of Aaron and Italy Hines on September 5, 1944 in Sharpsburg, Kentucky. Robin departed this earthly life on Tuesday morning, March 1, 2022.
Robin accepted Christ and later became a member of Kemper Road Christian Church in Forest Park, Ohio. She married Billy Ledford and relocated to Carlisle, Kentucky. Their union was blessed with four sons, George, Kelvin, Terry and Steve.
She enjoyed spending time with her family, completing word-search puzzles and just being an overall caregiver. She worked for several years as a private-duty nurse. Robin also volunteered to stay with any family or friend who was admitted to the hospital. Whether it was making us laugh when we were feeling downв?¦or just being a shoulder to cry on, Robin was a natural "comforter."
Robin was preceded in death by her husband, Billy Ledford; her parents, Aaron and Italy Hines; her son, Kelvin Ledford and sisters, Emily, Joanne, Betty, Stella and Vickie. Robin leaves to cherish her memory her loving sons, George (Audrey), Terry, Steve (Stephanie), daughter-in-law, Stephanie (Hall) Ledford; three grand daughters, Arryan (Damelio) Ball, Angelica Hall and Alexis Copeland; four great-granddaughters, Anyia, Aliyae and Deliana Ball, Nova Payton; great-grandson, Emir Scott ; two sisters, Peyton Mary Hill, Elizabeth Jean; three brothers, Charles Hines, Curtis Hines and Lawrence Hines. She will also be dearly missed by a host of family and friends.
