Margie Byndon Obituary
Celebrating Her Spirit . . .
Margie L. Byndon was born on January 28, 1929 to the union of Anna V. and Robert L. Tomlinson. She went home to her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on March 18, 2022. She passed peacefully at home, surrounded by the love of her family.
She was born in Richmond, Kentucky and raised in Cincinnati, Ohio. She attended Cincinnati Public Schools and graduated from Withrow High School. She was united in marriage to Willie L. Byndon on September 25, 1948. Their union was blessed with seven children: Gary, Anita, Beverly, Kenneth, Rhonda and Vincent and Veronica Byndon. She was also blessed with special daughter, Mary Ann Wilson.
She was preceded in death by her parents; seven-year-old son, Kenneth E. Byndon and husband Willie L. Byndon.
Margie, who operated her own daycare, loved and nurtured countless children throughout her years as a caregiver. (Those who are here today know who they are) She also volunteered at Gospel Mission, feeding those in need of meals. She was a faithful church member and loved her church family. Margie, who was always ready to travel, packed her bags three months in advance of upcoming trips. Her golden years were blessed with two faithful caregivers, Veronica Williams, her daughter, and Charisma Williams, her granddaughter. They both took great care of her.
Her loving spirit will forever be cherished by her children, Gary Byndon, Anita (Edward Carthen) Byndon, Beverly Byndon, Kenneth Byndon, Rhonda (Gary Haugabook) Byndon, Vincent (Jeanette Williams) Byndon, Veronica Byndon Williams and special daughter Mary Ann Wilson; 11 grandchildren, Tonya Mack, Natasha Byndon, Ossie Byndon, Konica Byndon, Jasmine (Chaste) Bokyins, Latrica Byndon, Jevan Carthen, Charisma Williams, Cierra Williams, Ayanna Overstreet, Teresa McMillian and Janasia Christian. She will also be dearly missed by 35 great-grandchildren, six great-great grandchildren and a host of other loving relatives and friends.
