Closing Prayer Randy Solomon “ And I have hope toward God, which hope these men also look forward to, that there is going to be a resurrection of the righteous and the unrighteous.” Acts 24:15 Glenda Lee Connally August 12, 1924-October 1, 2020 Glenda Lee Connally (née Canada) was born on August 12, 1924 in Keene, Ky, to the union of George Lee and Glender Vern Canada. Sister Connally passed away on October 1, 2020. Glenda was united in marriage to Robert Connally Jr. on August 11, 1945, in Cincinnati, Ohio, until his death in November, 2007. Their union was blessed with three daughters, Lee Barbara, Vern Ann and Gloria Elaine. Second to serving Jehovah, Glenda loved her girls and provided them the kind of support that allowed them to thrive well in their lives. Glenda was a strict, yet loving mother and considered raising her children as her profession. She was often quiet and reserved, but among friends and family, she loved to laugh and sing. Affectionately called “Cook”, Glenda loved to be in the company of her “girls,” other family members, and Jehovah’s friends. Most Important, she loved Jehovah until the end. Glenda was baptized as one of Jehovah’s Witnesses in November, 1985, and enjoyed her remaining years as a member of the West End, Midtown, and Walnut Hills Congregations, until the end of her life. Glenda was preceded in death by two sisters, Alice Whitfield and Gretchelene Sullivan and her brother, George Canada, Jr. Her loving spirit will be cherished by her daughters, Dr. Lee Barbara, Vern Ann and Gloria Elaine; four grandchildren, Jerry, Adam, David, and Andrea; one sister, Gentry Williams; cousins, and a host of great grandchildren, nieces and nephews. Certainly, all family and friends will miss Glenda, until we meet again during the resurrection. That certainly will be a cause for great rejoicing and thanking Jehovah God, our Father forever. We know that Glenda’s name Is written in His Book of Remembrance. “Truly I tell you today, you will be with me in Paradise“, Luke 23:43 She was a living example of Ephesians 4:32 - “Be kind to one another…”.
