Corinna "City" Freeman was born to the union of the late Edward Lee Young and Freda Young on June 23, 1947. She passed away on April 14, 2020 into the arms of The Lord. She grew up in Cincinnati, Ohio where she attended Cincinnati Public Schools, graduating from Hughes High School. She devoted her life to God at a young age and worshiped at many churches throughout the city. Corinna, who had a passion for young children, worked at the Boys and Girls Club in Avondale. She taught preschool in Cincinnati Public Schools until her retirement. She was the beloved wife of the late Arthur W. Freeman II and leaves to cherish her memory her son, Aaron Sims; Grandson, Ryan (Stephanie) Sims; four Great-Grandchildren, Jada, Isaac, Madison, and Colin, Brother, Wendell (Flora) Young , two sisters, Sheila (Greg) Johnson and Ava (George) Pye. She will also be missed by several nieces, nephews, and friends. Corinna will be remembered for her creative spirit, making children's games and toys, and turning nothing into something!
