Betty Ann Milford was born October 2, 1936 in Opelika, Alabama to David Pete and Hattie Lee (Dorsey) Milford. In 1936 her parents and the family moved to Cincinnati, Ohio where she accepted Christ at a young age. As a young girl she liked to swim and was very much a tomboy. Played on the baseball team and loved to fight. She loved to sing on stage at the Hippodrum Theater. Later she acquired the love of playing cards and Pokeno. Betty was a strong woman. She was very stern and did not take stuff from anyone. She was the protector of her younger sisters. She loved all of her family dearly. After she found the LORD, her love was for the church. For 29 years she was employed with Cintas Corporation where she retired from. She was a member of El Bethel Baptist Church Cincinnati, Ohio under Reverend John McMullen. Betty or Ann as she was called by most loved her family dearly. Preceding Betty Ann in death was her brother Clarence (Butchie) Milford, her grandparents Dick and Anna (Hightower) Dorsey, Ed and Ida (Milford) Floyd, her parents, a nephew Kevin Dwayne Milford, a great-grandson Steven Jermaine Milford and a sister Betty Jean Simpson. She leaves to cherish: seven children: Barbara Ann Alexander (George), Douglas Lee Davis (Sue), Juanita Milford, Harvey Anthony Milford (Donna), Darlene Denise (Hogan) Anderson, Donald Darnell Milford and Steven Lee Milford three sisters-Mitzi Dale Hogan, Dorothy Jean Milford and Deborah Ann Smith, two brothers Willie Marshall McGee and David Milford Jr., nine grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren, one great great-grand child, five nieces, three nephews and a host of other relatives and friends.
