Arlene Jordan

Arlene Jordan was born on October 8, 1943 in Cleveland, Ohio. She was the second oldest child of the late Clarissa Nichols Jordan and the late John Jordan. She went home to be with the Lord on December 31, 2013 at Mercy Hospital in Fairfield, Ohio, surrounded by her loving and devoted cousins.
Arlene was educated in the Cleveland Public Schools system. As a young adult, Arlene relocated to Cincinnati, Ohio to be the caregiver for her grandmother, the late Margaret Nichols. Arlene was a faithful and caring caregiver to her Grandmother Nichols for over 40 years.
She joined First Baptist Church of Cumminsville under the Pastorage of the late Reverend James Felton. She was a regular member of First Baptists' Sunday School Class and recently received an award for her faithful attendance.
Arlene was employed by Goodwill Industries in Woodlawn, Ohio. She received numerous accolades for her dependability, conscientiousness and always pleasant demeanor.
Arlene leaves to cherish her memory two loving sisters, Dianna Jordan and Nancy Jordan Haynes and three brothers, John, Ronnie and Jerry Jordan, all of Cleveland, Ohio; two nephews ; one niece; one devoted aunt and guardian, Martha Alice Fletcher; scores of faithful cousins; two attentive aides and friends, Emily Hall and Gloria Mason, and a host of other relatives and friends
