Victor Duane Joiner, 58, was born on June 28, 1959 in Cincinnati, Ohio to the union of Alma Elizabeth and Leroy Joiner. He departed this life suddenly on Aug. 21, 2017 , into the arms of The Lord.
Victor grew up in Cincinnati and attended Cincinnati Public Schools. He completed his education at Hughes High School. He shared his home with his mother, Alma. Although his life-time disability prevented him from working , Victor was an active , beloved member of his community.
He enjoyed spending time at St. Elizabeth Baptist Church, which was located close to his home. Victor attended service and enjoyed the church's soup kitchen. He was known from his quiet, sweet spirit and his passion for hats. Victor collected and wore all types of hats...from fedoras to baseball caps. He also loved wearing his jewelry and listening to music.
Victor, the fourth of five children, was preceded in death by his father, Leroy Joiner and his brother, Ledford Joiner. He is survived by his mother, Mrs. Alma E. Joiner; three brothers, Lance Joiner, Clifford (Gail) Joiner and Stanley Joiner; his half-sister, Wanda Clyde; two aunts, Lorine Robertson and Nacoina Robertson; nephews, Willie Robertson, Earl Robertson, Charlie Robertson; nieces, Clara Oaks, Barbara Ann Robertson and Tamika Robertson. He will also be dearly missed by a host of other relatives and friends.
