Celebrating Her Spirit. . .
Ms. Ruth Lee Goodgames was born on November 19, 1927 in Newbern Alabama to Mixon Jones Sr. and Estella V. Scott. She parted this life on Friday, April 30, 2015 to be with The Lord.
Ruth moved to Cincinnati as a young woman, where she met her husband Raymond Goodgames Sr. The couple married in 1948 and their union was blessed with four sons. She was devoted to her family and always had a kind and uplifting word to share with others.
She was a devoted charter member of Inspirational Baptist Church for many years. She served faithfully on the usher board, women's guild and many other committees whenever в?¦she was needed. Ruth was preceded in death by both parents; her husband, Raymond Goodgames Sr.; two sons, Raymond Goodgames Jr. and Anthony Goodgames.
Her loving, sweet spirit and memory will forever by cherished by her sons, Donald (Nelda) Goodgames of Riverview Florida and Kenneth (Chantrell) Goodgames of Irving Texas; her loyal brother, Sandy (Patrica) Jones and dedicated nephew, Theodore Adams of Cincinnati, Ohio. She will also be missed by eight grandchildren, 11 great- grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
"Whenever she said goodbye she would always end the conversation with: I love you and ain't a thang you can do about it."
