Martine Phillip Gooden, 59, was born on February 20, 1957 to the union of Zella Mae Harris and Paul Tatum in Cincinnati, Ohio. He departed this life on January 6, 2017 in the comfort of his home into the arms of The Lord.
Martine attended Cincinnati Public Schools and completed college. He spent working as a truck driver and as a professional cook for the Greyhound Tavern. He was loving by nature and dearly loved his family and children. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Octavia and Louis Gooden and great- nephew, Lionel Hill.
He leaves to cherish his memory his parents, Zella Mae Harris and Paul Tatum; his children, Jamel D. Dailey, Ty Gooden, Markesa (John) Jordan, La'Kenya, Martine, Martina, Martine Gooden, Jr., Stephanie and Mia; siblings, Louis Hutchinson, Diane Hurt, Sandra, Beverly, Charlotte Harris, Lametrious, Demetrious Shields; an aunt, Catherine Watkins; grandchildren, Mark Williams, Ar'Yonna, Chiyonna, Charles Kelly, Jr., Elijah Clark, Jason, Jalynn, Jai'Naya, D'Ionaya, Jayden Brayden Dailey, Jayden, Kenleigh, Jayonte', Tyeesha, Tywone Gooden, Austin C, Ayden Davis; great-grandchildren, Mari'Yonna, Mar'K Williams, Ke'Mel Pickens, Jr.; a host of nieces, nephews and a host of other family and friends.
