Celebrating Her Spirit. . . .
Jacqueline Coleman Hamler was born on January 15, 1947 to the union of James and Edith Lorraine Coleman in Meridian, MS. She departed this life to be with The Lord on January 25, 2016, surrounded by her loving family.
Jacqueline, affectionately called "Jackie," by family and friends, moved from Meridian to Cincinnati with her family as a child. In the early 1960's , after the death of her mother, she moved to Fort Worth, TX to live with her aunt Ruth Silas for a few years. She returned to Cincinnati to finish her education, graduating from Taft High School.
As a young mother, Jackie supported her children by working at Steel Craft, Kenner Toys and General Motors, Corp., where she worked for more than 10 years. Jackie married Samuel Hamler in June 1965, and the couple blessed Jackie's two children, Debra and Jon, with three new siblings, David, Byron, and Paula. Jackie was later blessed with the birth of her sixth child, Allen.
